I am a mom of 6 and a DONA certified Birth Doula. I am passionate about helping young women who find themselves in unexpected pregnancies by offering hope, compassion and letting them know they DO have options.
I know that the journey to motherhood can be complex and stressful, especially if it wasn’t planned, but I also know that it can bring great joy and purpose. I find it an honour to support women during pregnancy, birth and on their parenting journey. I want to equip women to make informed choices, empower them to be strong mothers, alleviate any fears they may have as we walk together, and listen and learn from their stories along the way. I have a variety of experience in pregnancy, birth, parenting and adoption. I lead the monthly workshops that are offered here at Refuge and initiated the “Walk with Me” program that provides comprehensive pregnancy, birth and postpartum support to our clients.
